Chloe Messdaghi is a Security Researcher Advocate. Since entering cybersecurity space, she sees security as a humanitarian issue. Humanitarian work includes advising as a UN Volunteer, serving as a board member for several humanitarian organizations and started a nonprofit called Drop Labels. Besides her passion to keep people safe and empowered online & offline, she is driven to change the statistics of women in InfoSec. She co-founded Women in Security (WoSEC) and heads the SF Bay Area chapter. As well, she created WomenHackerz, an online community for women who hack at all levels, which also provides workshops training of all areas hacking for hundreds of women around the world. In her spare time, she mentors women in infosec to enter and remain and gives talks on diversity and inclusion in InfoSec, bug bounty, mental health for hackers, and safe harbor. She holds a BA in International Relations from UC Davis, MS in Political Research from the University of Edinburgh, and executive education from Wharton.
